Had a perfectly pleasant stay for the price & would come here again. Whole place was clean with marvellous views; perfect location right on the ocean. The bedroom was updated and new-fashioned. Got very clean bed and a fridge, a microwave oven, and an individual safe.

here there are only rooms with ocean view - nice and well kept complex with a top price/performance ratio / location is great directly on the beach and in the old district of newport with restaurants and shops / coffee / tea and popcorn is always available in the lobby / very comfortable bed. drive to the harbour / there sea lions lie very close and relaxed / nice shops / great viewpoint at the old lighthouse

was everything perfect / the new part of newport is not worth seeing

Very nice staff, nice view, warm and quiet swimming pool.

Breakfast consisting of pastries is not very nutritious. Toast/bagels would have been nice.

The free popcorn and drinks were a good surprise! The indoor pool and jacuzzi were perfect. The only downside was the breakfast area being a bit cramped, but it didn't overshadow our enjoyable stay 😊

We had an very nice stay with fine ocean views from our room. The kids loved the pool and nearby beach. Plus, being pet-friendly made it easy to bring along our two dogs.

My kids wished there were more family activities available on-site.

Whaler, newport motel is a newly renovated gem right on the beach. The ocean view from our beautiful king room with a fireplace was fine, and I loved having a small balcony with chairs! The staff was always prompt and helpful, and we enjoyed the heated indoor pool . The food truck in the lot served the best brioche breakfast sandwiches.
