I stayed at The Whaler for 2 days in mid-March and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The ocean view from room #261 on the second floor was fantastic. The room itself was clean and nice, exceeding my expectations. The staff was friendly and hospitable, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The sunrise and sunsets were breathtaking, adding to the overall experience. The location of the hotel is also great, with shopping and Nye Beach close by. I can't wait to return to this wonderful hotel.

what a fantastic stay! after exploring newport before, i didn't expect much from the motel, but it pleasantly surprised me. the staff was friendly and the location was perfect. the comfortable bed and ocean view made my stay incredible. whaler motel, you exceeded my expectations!

The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. They even provided complimentary pet supplies for my furry friend. The continental breakfast was a great bonus. Beds were a bit high and hard, but the sound of crashing waves made up for it. Rooms lack AC, but open door and fan provided nice breeze. Pet-friendly with extra sheet and treats.
